Initial Consultation and Movement Assessment

​

Within 24 hours of signing up, I'll be in touch with you to arrange our first call.

In this call, we'll discuss your current and previous experiences with training and nutrition, any injuries or restrictions we need to work around, your goals, your lifestyle and how much time you have to dedicate towards training. 

We also talk about what your life looks like outside of the gym, what matters most to you, what stresses you, what makes you happy.

I’ll give you some simple bodyweight movements to perform, film and send back to me. These help me when it comes to exercise selection for your training programme.

I will then set up your account on CoachingRX, the app we'll be using.

Your Training Programme

​

I use what I've learnt about you in our consultation and movement assessment to build your training programme. Whether this is gym or home based and how many days you are training, is all decided between us in our consultation. 

Your programme will be uploaded to the CoachRX app, complete with hand-typed, personal instructions, and demo videos for all exercises.

I'll also send you a video to introduce your programme to you.

Nutrition and Lifestyle Guidance

​

There's much more to your health and wellness than what you do in the gym. In fact those hours only play a small part in you feeling strong, energetic and positive.

We'll work together to see how we can improve your nutrition, digestion, sleep, hydration, stress management, and general activity.

I don't give you a diet plan, I don't set you a step target, and I don't force you to meditate for 5 minutes every morning.

What we do is look at what these areas of your life look like now, and decide on what the first step in a better direction would look like.

Continuous Communication

​

When you start your training, we’ll be continually communicating to make sure everything is going okay with your plan. You can drop me a message any time.

You'll also check in with me at the end of each week. Don't worry, I'm not going to ask for a weigh in or weekly photos of you in your underwear! It's a simple check in form where you answer some questions about how you felt your week went in terms of training and nutrition, and also sleep, stress, general activity, etc. 

Adjustments to your programme can be made where necessary, and we can work together on any other lifestyle factors we decide could do with improvement.  

You'll also have the option to book 1:1 progress calls.
